About Alter & Spruce
Alter & Spruce grew from a simple observation: too many good clothes are discarded simply because they no longer fit, or because their style has shifted with time. We wanted to offer something different. A place where garments could be restored, refined, and reimagined with care.
We are a venture of Regal Fabrics, one of the Middle East's most established fabric retailers. Since 1952, Regal Fabrics has built a reputation for quality and craftsmanship across the UAE and Qatar. That heritage shapes everything we do at Alter & Spruce. We understand textiles. We respect the skill required to work with them well.
Our studios in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are staffed by experienced tailors who take their time with each piece. There is no rushing here. Just quiet, focused work.
What We Believe
We believe clothes carry meaning. A well-worn jacket, a dress from a significant occasion, a suit that fits just right. These things matter. They deserve to be maintained, not discarded.
We believe in sustainability as a practice, not a trend. Extending the life of existing garments is one of the most impactful choices anyone can make. It is quieter than buying new, but it is more meaningful.
